T-Mobile partners with WalMart to offer affordable options on Android/Linux “modified version” – based Smart Phones

The LG Optimus T and Motorola Defy Android powered smartphones are available from the nation’s largest retailer for very reasonable upfront costs. Both phones are being tagged as entry level devices to bring customers into the Smartphone era. Smartphones sold at a retailer as large as Walmart should catapult T-Mobile as the leader in retail Smartpnone sales at retail locations. T-Mobile now brings American’s a great value with little up front costs. T-Mobile is gaining some 3800 retail locations, depending on how many actual Walmart locations carry the new Smartphones.

The LG Optimus T, an entry level Android smartphone features a 3.2-Megapixel camera, a 2GB MicroSD Card while running STOCK Android 2.2 (Froyo); available for less that $1 with a new 2-year contract!
